We offer "Martoxid^®" products manufactured by Huber Engineered Materials, who is an inorganic chemical manufacturer in US. Martoxid® is an alumina-based heat dissipation filler that is excellent in thermal conductivity and electrical insulation. Especially, the "TM series", that has the proven track record in heat dissipation applications, is possible to highly fill with polymer by applying surface treatment and optimizing particle size distribution, to be compatible with a variety of thermoplastics, rubbers, and elastomers including epoxies, phenols, acrylics, urethanes and silicones. Alumina that is chemically stable and isotropic in heat conduction is cost-effective. The "TM Series" greatly improves the thermal conductivity of polymers and contributes to the thermal management of electronic components.

Viscosity Ranges of MARTOXID^® TM Series

Viscosity measurements were conducted in RheoStress^® 6000 rotational viscometer, rotor Z25-DIN 53019 in Caradol^® polyether polyol, 72 wt.% MARTOXID^® TM @ 23℃.

Example : Thermal conductivity in the thickness direction of Engage^® elastomer

Thermal conductivity measurements were carried out using a steady state method via THASYS (THA01-1419) ASTM 1114-06 @ 23℃.Polymer: Engage^® 8003 polyolefin elastomer (ethylene-octene copolymer).
